iFilm's movie lineup for upcoming weekend: part 8

Catch the latest updates on iFilm TV Channels' weekend movies and plan your TV time based on your language of choice.

The weekend varies through the sister channels of iFilm English, Arabic, Farsi and iFilm2. Therefore, the end of week falls on Thursday on iFilm2 and iFilm Farsi, Friday and Saturday on iFilm Arabic, and Sunday on iFilm English.

Check the movie titles and their air time based on the language and channel you prefer.

iFilm2:

‘The Bruise on the Olive’, a film about the Palestinian resistance, is set to be aired by iFilm2 on Thursday at 17:30 GMT.

Youssef and Salma live with their daughter in a village in Lebanon. Yousef is secretly cooperating with the resistance group and in order not to be known, he goes to the nearby cities as a salesman and gives information to the resistance group. He keeps a low profile until the Zionist agents suspect him and come to his house to arrest him. That is when, he tells Salma that all the information is trusted with someone named Angel. When in custody, Yousef does not leak any info to the Zionists and so they kill the man.

iFilm Farsi:

‘The Painting Pool’ is the weekend movie that will hit the air on iFilm Farsi on Thursday November 2 at 17:30 GMT.

Maziar Miri’s heart-breaking movie is a remarkable portrait of two people fighting for their right to be a family despite being mentally challenged. They try hard to lead a normal life and care for their son, Soheil, but for them everything is a challenge, even cooking or crossing the street, let alone raising a normal child who soon realizes his mentally challenged parents are not like everybody else.

iFilm Arabic:

Watch Bahman Goudarzi’s ‘Restless’ in Arabic on Friday November 3 at 19:00 GMT.

Monir is a pregnant woman, who lost her husband and so she has to work people's homes as a nurse to earn a living for herself and her sick mother-in-law. Her adventure begins when she starts a job in an elderly woman named Molouk’s house, where she gets acquainted with their former employee, who was accused of stealing a necklace.

‘Father’s Farm’ is the title of the movie that will hit the air on Saturday November 4 at 19:00 GMT.

Mahmoud Shokatiyan, the author of the book ‘Father's Farm’, is invited to Ahvaz to give a speech at the review meeting of war operations. He, who lost his wife and two children in the attacks of the enemy, imagines them alive and accompany him on this journey. Mahmoud walks to the land where he once fought and the bitter memories of the war days are evoked for him.

iFilm English:

Tune into iFilm English TV on Saturday November 4 at 22:00 GMT to watch 'Yavar' directed by Ali Shah-Hatami.

Yavar, a man who works as a driver in the logistics department of a film company, abhors smoking and doing drugs. As an acting enthusiast, he faces this social problem at work. On the other hand, his son Behnam, being unaware that the father of his favorite girl is addicted, intends to marry her, and this issue creates adventures for them...
